My Bio

In 2009, I was diagnosed with a tumor in my brain, under my brain stem. In 2010, I decided to have brain surgery to remove the tumor. In 2011, what was meant to be one brain surgery, quickly turned into 2 brain surgeries within a five day span. The first surgery was performed on December 16, 2011 and the second surgery was performed on December 21, 2011. With the encouragement from my loved ones and my Faith in God, I survived both brain surgeries. Ten days After the brain surgeries, I attended church service. I was wheeled in by my oldest daughter, however, while in the midst of Giving God all of the Glory for my Divine healing, I heard Him say, "You are Whole". It was at that moment, I jumped up from my wheelchair and I physically ran around the entire church (which was the size of a football field). I walked out of church service that night and I didn't need a walker or a wheelchair after that. It was not long after this Miracle that God spoke to me while I was speaking to a congregation and He prophesied through me, to his people, that "A book will be birthed from this experience". I had no idea then that this poetry book, "A Strong-willed Mind, healing scars over time through my poetry", would manifest nearly three years later! Since the publishing of my very first poetry book, I have been voted as "The Author of the Year" in 2016 by The Secret Place Book Club. Comedians Bill Bellamy, TK Kirkland, EJ Speaks and KevOnStage own my poetry book. I now have the "A Strong-willed Mind" Brand of t-shirts, tote bags, pens, calendars, business magnets, etc. In April 2017, I was re-diagnosed with another tumor in my brain. I have not let this stop me! I am currently working on my very first novel, "A Strong-willed Mind - The Novel". There is so much I have within me that I want to share with the world! A Strong-willed Mind is simply another way of operating in Faith! I believe my Faith in God has brought me this far and my desire is that it will continue to take me farther than the eyes can see or the ears have heard because I believe that My Strong-willed Mind Brand is aligned with God's Purpose for my life❤
